ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born and raised in Ithaca, NY, I moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to expand my real-world education as a visual artist & storyteller.

An ardent believer in visual storytelling as an instrument of education, and a powerful agent of change, I've spent the last 10 years helping brands and individuals find their voices and larger audiences.

As JYM Moving Images, working principally as an independent, I've helped couples and families document sacred unions, as well as the most tender departures. I've also supported both solo artists and successful startups in developing their unique aesthetic identities.

In 2018 I was privileged to publish the remarkable telling of Linda S. Folley and her intrepid fight-to-the-end with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. This award-winning documentary, Radical Acts Of Love, was featured in both domestic and international festival programs, and can now be found on VOD platforms in over 100 countries.

Today, I work as a story producer, director and editor for direct-to-consumer marketing giant Golden Hippo - telling brand-stories in short and long-form advertising, authoring campaigns earning hundreds of millions in views, and drawing over $30 million in annual revenue.

My blanket interest will always be simply telling stories that empower people to nurture our better natures, strengthen connectivity and community, and celebrating our enormous potentials, with respect to our intrinsic darknesses.
